The Downtown Halifax Business Commission (DHBC) collaborated with Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) and the Planning and Design Centre ( on the Argyle Street streetscaping pilot project to explore the potentials of a pedestrian-centric streetscape plan for a future Argyle Street in the heart of Halifax's entertainment district. With minimal interventions, the interaction with the street was dramatically shifted using only a program of events plus a striking roadway paint scheme for this 7 week pilot project.
Breakhouse partner Peter Wünsch maintained a strategic role on the design team throughout and directed the graphic design component.
