Urban Living.
Working closely with David Wex from Urban Capital, an extremely well-seasoned developer, we were able to realize the client’s visions for a highly urban living experience in the rapidly evolving North End of Halifax.
It is not uncommon for our team to take a project after another architect has designed the project and received a development agreement. Even though it restricts us from changing the building massing to any degree beyond a few inches, what we are able to do is completely change the building’s exterior material articulation and completely change interior units and their finishes. Kind of like redesigning a ship in a bottle.
